Leonard “Jerry” Lewis

Leonard “Jerry” Lewis, 72 of Waynesboro went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 8, 2015.

He was born November 11, 1942 in Albemarle County to the late Linwood Lewis and the late Elizabeth Shifflett Lewis.

He was an ordained Minister and a member of Celebration Church of God in Waynesboro.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Belle and his brothers, Elmer, Floyd, Irvine and Dan Lewis.

He is survived by his wife Adaline “Addie” Lewis; brothers, John Lewis and Edward Lewis: step-children, Kathy, Debbie, Carol and Allan; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939 and where a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2015 conducted by Brother Wayne Chint and Brother Jonathan King.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
