Joey A. "Joe" Charlton
Joey A. "Joe" Charlton, is an owner and the President of the company. He has over 20 years experience in funeral service. He was born in Harrisonburg, raised in Waynesboro, where he was a 1983 graduate of Waynesboro High School. He attended various colleges pursuing studies in Psychology and was graduated with honors from Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA. He has been serving families as a Funeral Director and Funeral Home Manager in this part of the Shenandoah Valley and the Piedmont region since 1985. Joe has family in Fishersville, Waynesboro, Staunton, Stuarts Draft, Crimora and Harrisonburg.
John R. Groome
John R. Groome, is an owner, Vice President and Manager of the company. He is a veteran of over 43 years in funeral service. He was raised in Petersburg, VA, where he graduated from St. Joseph Central High School, attended Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary where he pursued business law and in 1965 graduated from Indiana College of Mortuary Science. Over the years John has been active in various civic clubs and organizations. His children and grandchildren reside in Charlottesville, Albemarle County and the Lake Monticello area.
