Carmela “Nellie” Humphreys

Carmela “Nellie” Humphreys, 92 of Stuarts Draft passed away Monday, June 22, 2015.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Humphreys, four brothers and one sister.

Nellie is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Higginbotham and husband Jim of Waynesboro, a son, Johnnie Humphreys of Mint Springs, three granddaughters, Angela Wilfong of Front Royal, Andrea Toman of Luray, and Kristina Kiesnowski of Syracuse, NY; two step-grandsons, Jon Higginbotham and Jaime Higginbotham both of Waynesboro, six great-grandchildren, Sara Jeffries and Jessie Madaris both of Front Royal, Josh Minsinger and Christian Roberson both of Luray, Makenna Kiesnowski and Luca Kiesnowski both of Syracuse, NY, one step-great-grandson, Josh Higginbotham of Waynesboro, and one great-great-granddaughter, Kennedy Knowles of Front Royal.

A private burial will be held at Augusta Memorial Park at a later date.
