Jerry was a kind, unexpected friend who came into my son Reid Millns's life when he attended Fishburne Military School in the late 90's. She believed him to be lost one day when she saw him walking and pulled over to offer directions back to school. He visited her in her home and loved her cats. May the love she shed on her fellowman be infinitely multiplied to her in Heaven.

I had the privilege of meeting Jerry only once and very late in her life.  She continued to present with a great sense of humor, a loving spirit, and an "I don't know a stranger" attitude!   What a blessing to all!   My condolences and love go out to her wonderful daughter, Carmen, her husband, Eric, and their two children, Cydnee and Tyler.  I can only imagine how proud of them Jerry was....and, I believe, still is!

One of my most favorite memories with you mom was going to the beach.  Such a great time.  She was truly a blessing to everyone she met.
Romans 14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Recently I lost my dear mother, and
found great comfort in the words of Jesus at John 11:11-14, where he
likens death to being asleep, and at John 5: 28,29 - "All those in the
memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." For more comfort,
