So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I worked for him at the Uxbridge Worsted mill in Uxbridge and took his position when the moved South after he recommended me for it.
This started me off on a long and successful career in textiles that I can only thank him for. We remained friends for many years. I share your grief and you are in my prayers.

My heart was deeply touched after hearing of your recent loss. I too have lost many family and friends to death. Revelation 21:4 has always provided me with a source of comfort, hopefully it will you as well.

I hope that you will find these links comforting:

Always sad to learn of the passing of very special people such as Ed. Ed and Jennie were two of my first patients when I came back to Staunton in 1970. Not only were they wonderful patients, but great people to know..(and this goes for Ed Jr, Tommie and Cynthia as well) I agree with the statement about Ed's seemingly gruff exterior at first impressions....but it didn't take long for him to reveal the genuine and really great person that he truly was! A great patriarch of a wonderful family!!!!

Dr. Wolanski and Cindy,
I have only known you for a year but during that time I have gained two very special friends. My heart goes out to you on the loss of your loved one. It is never easy, but if you just keep those memories in your heart and hold on to God's unchanging hand, everything will be alright. May God bless you and your family.

Our prayers go to you and your family at this time. I hope that, in time, the memories will being you comfort and peace. Another WWII hero goes to his reward. My dad, a C 47 transport pilot, in the far east, has already gone home. Perhaps they'll meet there. Take care of yourself. Gail Ganott
