Dora White Pittington

Dora L. White Pittington 57 of Waynesboro went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 17, 2016 with her fiancé by her side, after a short battle with carcinoma lung cancer.
She was born July 10, 1959 in Harrisonburg, VA the daughter of William O. and Catherine Nutty White.
Dora was raised in Grottoes and later moved to Waynesboro where she has resided the last 14 years. She always enjoyed her beautiful flowers, her pets, the holidays and spending time with her family, most of all her three grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her warm and caring heart. A person whom would happily and quickly go without, just so someone else would not have to.
In addition to her parents Dora was preceded in death by two brothers, William Calvin White, Sr. of Port Republic and Osby Eugene Morris of Grottoes.
Surviving is her loving fiancé, Donnie E. Fisher of Waynesboro; son, Stacy M. Pittington and his fiancé Tracie L. Parr of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, and Logan of Waynesboro; sister, Paulette Miller and her husband, Leon of Harrisonburg; brothers,  Robert Morris and his wife Faye of Stuarts Draft, Tommy Morris and his wife Sandra of Staunton; a special life long friend Kay (Ritchie) Lee of Harrisonburg and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also held her fiancés family very close and dear to her heart.
Dora’s wishes were to have only a small church service to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church, 901 Shenandoah Ave. Waynesboro, VA 22980.
It is suggested, anyone desiring to make memorial contribution may do so to Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church.
