I didn't know about Donnie passing until May 29. We played several gigs over the last 30 years with Al Winters group, my brother Dave's group, Vince Lewis at the Collanades, and my own group at the Mill Street Grill. I also used to see him at Jazz in the Park quite often. He was a super nice guy and will be greatly missed!..........Lew Morrison

I am so shocked to hear of don's Passing yesterday. I wish Cindi and the family quick healing and I know the great memories of such a fine man and musician will help with that, and I will always appreciate don's friendship, kindness and musicianship.

Much sympathy to Don's family. We were friends since we were toddlers and he gave me rides on the back of his tricycle when we were neighbors. May bless his soul and his family.

Donny and I were classmates for many years--class of '57. Peggy Roadcap, one of our 6th grade classmates, and I were both "in love" with Donny that year so we had our school picture taken with him. I still have that photo--sweet memories. I am so sorry for your sudden loss.

Don was a wonderful person. We went to Waynesboro High School together and I considered him to be a friend. We were both very involved in music and he was an excellent drummer. He was well liked and will be missed. May God be with his wife and family.

Girlfriend, to lose the love of your life that way I know well as I was in your shoes 16 years ago July 11th--so-o if you need proof that you can survive, you got it!!
