William “Bill” Masse, 73, of Waynesboro, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024. He was born in Alexandria, a son of the late Samson Masse and the late Irma Masse.
Bill retired as a Pepperidge Farm Bread Distributor in Augusta County. He held a Bachelor’s Degree from The George Washington University. For thirty-plus seasons Bill coached recreational league soccer. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed music and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Masse.
Survivors include his wife, Ann W. Masse; his children Gretchen Masse, Samuel Masse and his fianceé Courtney, and Benjamin Masse and his wife Brittany. His niece, Savanna and Rusty and their children also survive.
The family suggests that memorial contributions, in his honor, be made to a charity of your choice.

A Memorial Service will be held 12 Noon, Friday, March 1, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 301 Sheppard Ct., Waynesboro.
