William E. "Tray" Day III

William E. “Tray” Day III, 61, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with the Lord, at home, on Monday, August 25, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Waynesboro in 1964, a son of the late William Edward “Eddie” Day, Jr. and the late Nancy Stinespring Day.

Tray was a graduate of Waynesboro High School Class of 1982.  He attended Bridge Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Laura Harman Day; his son, William Hunter “Will” Day; his siblings, Andrew Todd Day and his wife, Stephanie of Shenandoah and Susan Day Mehler and her husband, Marc of Fort Defiance; his four nephews, Andrew Viers, Jacob Day, Jackson Day and Phillip Harman and also special extended family members, Faye Harman, Todd and Susan Harman and Sara Rapp. 

Graveside Services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, 420 Rosser Ave., Waynesboro on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm conducted by Pastor Zach Woods. Serving as Active Pallbearers will be Todd Harman, Phillip Harman, Pat Fee, Mike Gassman, Bobbie Killingsworth and Dale Martin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bridge Christian Church on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 4:00 pm lead by Pastor Zach Woods.
