He was born on August 16th 1954 in Hornell, New York.
Wesley was a graduate from Belmont Central High.
He was born to Earl Lewis Raub and Thelma Myrtle Cone, both who’ve preceded him in death as well as his half sister Joyce Sherman.
He is survived by his children, Daughter; Nikki Raub and her children Aiden, Ellie and Elijah and Son; Eric Raub and by his God-Daughters Kimberly and Brittany Dunbar. He is survived by his brother and sisters, Bill Raub of New York and his children, Silka, Wayne and Bill Jr., Shirley Raub of Georgia and her daughter Brittany Williamson and son Thadeus John “TJ” Jakuvowicz, Vicki Johnson of Kentucky and his best friend whom he treated like a sister Anna Dunbar-Dasher. He is survived by his nieces of Joyce Sherman; Darlene, Lisa, Joy and Cindy.
As most people referred to him as Wes or as the younger children would call him “Uncle Wessy”, he was a kind hearted individual who enjoyed collecting lighthouse and frog memorabilia. He always gave people nicknames when he would first be introduced to them and he would only refer to them as such, his laugh would light up the room when he would jokingly pick on his loved ones. Wesley loved baking and cooking, most famous being the no bake cookies. He would often share these recipes online so others would be able to share the same love for baking and cooking he had.
