Tyler Austin Fisher, 20, of Waynesboro, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
He was born on March 7, 2001 in Waynesboro to Nathan Scott Fisher, Sr. and Rebecca Charlene Fisher.
He worked at Little Debbie’s as a line-worker. He loved playing videogames, his family, hiking, and his hippie dog, “Peanut”.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Patricia Massie and “Papa” Jerry Dale; paternal great-grandparents, Charles Blair, Steve Massie Sr., and Lois Massie. On his maternal side he is preceded by his great aunt, Mary James; his cousin, Cameron Pace and his “Papaw” Larry Wingfield.
He is survived by his parents, Nathan S. Fisher Sr. and Rebecca C. Fisher; his brothers, Nathan S. Fisher Jr. and his fiancé, Tescia Brown of Waynesboro and David A. Owens Jr. of Waynesboro; his sisters, Cheyenne D. Fisher of Waynesboro and Brittney V. Pace of Fishersville; his nephew, Nathan S. “baby Nate” Fisher III; his cousins, Jeffrey Massie of Florida, Brandon Massie of Florida, Jasmine Massie of Waynesboro, Aneyah Turner of Fishersville, Kierra Durrette of Waynesboro, Kyden Harris of Stuarts Draft, Dylan Johnson of Waynesboro, Jacob Owens of Waynesboro and Jacob Smith of Stuarts Draft; his aunts, Donna Cash and her husband, Allan, Missy Harouff, Tonya Owens, Michelle Turner and her husband Nate, Alisha Fisher and her fiancé, Josh Harris and Christina Smith and her husband, Greggory; his uncles, James Pace and Michael Massie; his grandparents, Steve J. Massie Jr., Vicky A. Pace, and Dianna Dale; his Godmother, Stephanie Jones and his ex-brother-in-law and friend, Matthew C. Stark.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Bridge Christian Church 1275 Goose Creek Rd, Fishersville, conducted by Pastor Stacey Burkholder. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Nathan Fisher Jr., Josh Harris, Matthew Stark, James Pace, Jason Pace, Emily Galladay and Zaynie Strother. Honorary pallbearers will be David Owens Jr. and Leon McCourt.
The family will receive friends at Bridge Christian Church on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
