Troy Douglas Ross

Troy Douglas Ross, 57, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at his home.  Troy was born January 9, 1967 in Waynesboro, the son of Peggy Lou Ross of Waynesboro and the late Donald Edward Ross, Sr.

Troy was a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School, a member of ClearView Church, Fishersville and an Area 5 Special Olympics Athlete.  He enjoyed collecting NASCAR Race Cars and watching TV and he was very talented at making people laugh.

The family would like to express special appreciation to all the neighbors and friends and to the ClearView Church family.

In addition to his mother, Peggy L. Ross, Troy is survived by his two brothers, Donnie E. Ross, Jr. and Teddy W. Ross.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro with Pastor John Hamric and Danny Fisher officiating.  Family and friends are kindly asked to assemble at the cemetery for the service. Serving as Active Pallbearers will be Douglas Cash, Ryan Pittman, Scottie Clements, Kirk Moser, Timmy Connors,  Mark Snell, Preston Fry, Jeff Cash, Tommie Durie and Paul Kasemmongkol.
