Toni Lyn Ettinger Pennington

  Toni Lyn Ettinger Pennington, 56, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at her home. She was born on January 18, 1967, a daughter of the late Jerry Lee Ettinger and Linda Irene Howdyshell.

Toni was a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School. She worked for Hershey Chocolate of Virginia from June 1999 until December 2011. Scrapbooking and studying family history were a few of her favorite hobbies.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 25 years, Bennie Edward Pennington, Jr.; children, Trevor Ettinger of Charlottesville and Sara Denise Pennington of Harrisonburg; grandchild, Eva; siblings: Vicky Ettinger of Scottsville, Melody Godbey of Waynesboro, and Jeremy Ettinger of Waynesboro; mother-in-law, Margaret June Thompson; special friend, Pretrea Alford Mawyer; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and her Hershey family.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
