Stewart MacIntyre Hall, II, was born on January 17, 1942 to the late Stewart M. and Callie Lingle Hall. He was transitioned to his heavenly home on January 19, 2022 with his best friend, Rebecca Jones, by his side.
In addition to his parents, Stewart was preceded in death by the love of his life, Bonnie Burns Hall and a nephew, Lucas Burns.
Stewart is survived by his brother-in-law, Tommy Burns and wife, Cheryl; niece, Katie Burns; numerous cousins; best friends: Emily Huffman, Wayne Grant, Rebecca Jones, and many other loyal and supportive friends.
Thanks to Hospice of the Shenandoah and Waynesboro Manor staff for their loving care of Stewart.
Stewart was a Marine veteran, a graduate of James Madison College, and a Rehabilitation counselor for 26 years at WWRC in Fishersville. He was a man of integrity, kindness, compassion for others and stood firm in his faith and values.
Stewart and Bonnie enjoyed antiquing, gardening, art, decorating and entertaining friends and family at their home.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Dr., Fishersville, VA 22939, with Pastor Chris Guyer officiating. Burial will be private.
