Sheila Ann (Meadows) Bruker

Sheila Ann Bruker, 67, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Fishersville.

She was born on December 7, 1953 in Rockingham County, Virginia to Freeman D. Meadows and Roberta H. Meadows.

Sheila received her High School Diploma and was a homemaker. She was a member of Breakthrough Life Center and she volunteered for God’s Helping Hands and Disciples Kitchen.

She loved Gardening, Arts and Crafts, Theology, Interior Design, and Cooking.

She supported and loved her family focusing on them above all other things in life.  She was a true friend, whom truly loved everyone, always smiling and putting others before herself right up to the end of her life. She was devoted to Jesus Christ with unwavering faith that was not shaken by a pain or disability that plagued her earthly body for over 40 years.  She will be greatly missed by her family whom she loved and in return loved her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by, husband, James F. Bruker; daughter, Dana Star Bruker; father, Freeman D. Meadows and brother-in-law, Willis Treganowan.

Sheila is survived by her mother, Roberta H. Meadows; son,  Jeremy Bruker of San Antonio, TX and a daughter, Faith Bruker of Waynesboro; grandchildren:, Elijah and Isaiah Bruker; brother and Sisters,  Renee Shank & husband Thomas of Fredericksburg VA, George Bruker and wife Jean of Nesquehoning, PA, Edward Bruker and wife Jane of York, PA and Evelyn Treganowan and husband Willis of Bethlehem PA.

She also leaves to cherish her memory numerous nieces, nephews and special friends, Mary Jean Ditrch, Mark Bruker, Summer Shank and Thomas Shank.

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am”.  John 14:1-3 

A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro. (Those attending are required to wear mask and follow social distancing).

Pallbearers will be Mike Sluss, Josh Urgolites, Steven Urgolites, Jeff Reynolds, Tom Shank, Thomas Shank, Imran Ahmed and Bubba Creedle.
