Sarah Elizabeth (Cabell) Fleming

Sarah Elizabeth Fleming, 51, of Waynesboro, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

She was born September 6, 1969 in Waynesboro to Samuel Scorefield Cabell, Sr. and Thelma Louise Cabell.

Sarah graduated from Waynesboro High School in 1987 with honors. She worked for 17 years of  with State Farm Insurance in Stuarts Draft as a Multiple-Line Representative providing insurance and financial services. She was a member of the East Waynesboro Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The family extends a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Augusta Health, her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Richard White and her friend, Tracey Fitch.

Special words of endearment to her grandchildren were “I love you to the moon and back.’’

She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Scorefield, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Fleming, Sr.; son, Tony Fleming, Jr. of Waynesboro; daughters, Ebonee Fleming Wilk of Waynesboro and Jada Elizabeth Fleming of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Adrian Mychal Fleming, Elias Ayden Wilk, Jayce Thomas Fleming and Malachi Amory Fleming; siblings, Samuel Cabell, Jr. and his wife, Theresa of New Port News, VA, Mark Cabell and his wife, Melanie of Richmond, VA, Linda Cabell of Waynesboro, VA, Loretta Cabell of Waynesboro,VA, Sheila Maxwell and her husband, Calvin of Sacramento, CA and Patricia White and husband, Richard of Waynesboro, VA and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
