Roy Allen Vanzant

Roy A. Vanzant, 68, of Staunton, VA, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA. He was born in New Jersey on February 26, 1955, a son of the late Warren Leroy and Patricia Helena (Bogert) Vanzant.

Roy proudly served for six years in the USMC and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He received his bachelors and masters degree in engineering. Roy worked as a Quality Engineer with A.I. Solutions.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Abbie Bogert and brother, David Walter Vanzant.

Left to cherish his memory is his partner, Victoria Eidson; siblings: Barry Vanzant, Debbie Vanzant, Nick Lee Vanzant, Linda Eoas, and Ivy Powell; as well as extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Yoder officiating.
