Rosetta Anne "Rose" Harris

Rosetta Anne “Rose” Harris, 83, of Lyndhurst, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. She was born on October 6, 1939 in Oxon Hill, MD, a daughter of the late Charles Theodore and Pansey Marie (Showalter) Kidwell.

Rose retired from Augusta Nursing and Rehab where she worked as a cook. She was an avid pig figurine collector and greatly enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a number of siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Matthew Allen Holtman and wife, Amy, Patty Davis and husband, Michael, Vicky Stigler, and Paula Lampkin and husband, Karl; siblings: Ernest Kidwell, Louise Mauck, and Mary Kidwell;  grandchildren: Brittany Holtman, Karissa Holtman, Chris Davis and wife, Heather, Michael “Monkey” Davis and wife, Barbara, Curtis Davis and wife, Adrienne, Rebecca Trent and husband, Isaac “Bird”, David Gough, Christy Racine and husband, Mike, Matthew Lampkin  and wife, Landis, Austin Lampkin, Elizabeth Lampkin, and Trevor Lampkin;  great grandchildren: Jayden Davis, Emslee Davis, Ian Trent, Grayson Lampkin, Zaylnn Lampkin, Tyler Lampkin, Gracelynn Lampkin, Carson Lampkin, and Emery-Rose Lampkin; special family friend, Hunter Shifflett “Butter Bean” ; as well as extended family and friends.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be conducted at 2pm on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Augusta Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
