Roger Charles George, Jr.

Roger Charles George, Jr., departed this life, to be with his Lord, on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Augusta Health, Fishersville.

Mr. George was born on June 29, 1967, in Pennsylvania, son of the late Roger and

Marie (Bickleman) George of Staunton, Virginia.

In addition to his parents, Mr. George was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Fair.

Surviving are two sons, Bryant George of Lebanon, Pennsylvania and Zachariah Jones of Waynesboro, Virginia; two sisters, Cindy Rubendall of Lipitz, Pennsylvania and Lisa Fair of Lipitz, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Terry George of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Tracy George of Manheim, Pennsylvania; his significant other, Vivian Winston of Staunton, Virginia, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; special cousin, Ronald and Yolanda George of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; numerous other family members and friends and his beloved Service Dog, Naomi and her siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2019, in the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, conducted by The Rev. Joseph Wamala, who is the Pastor of St. Francis Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro.
