Robin Linton Obituary

Robin Lynn Linton, 57, of Waynesboro, passed away peacefully on Monday morning May 4, 2020. She was born in Waynesboro January 11, 1963, the daughter of Coy B. Linton, Jr. and Cora Sue Elmore Linton of Waynesboro.

Robin was a singer and songwriter and a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School, Class of 1981. She was founder of her own Publishing Company, SullysGirl Music Group (BMI) and worked hard to achieve her IMDb (Internet Movie Database) status on several projects.  She had a deep love of all facets of the music industry and spent many years in Nashville, Tennessee actively enjoying her passion.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Augusta Health Cancer Center and all the special friends at Shenandoah.

Robin was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Coy and Effie Linton of Ronceverte, West Virginia and her maternal grandparents, Bernie and Goldie Elmore of Monroe County, West Virginia and later of Waynesboro, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Virginia Nicole Hydrick of Birmingham, Alabama and Megen Michelle Tilley and her husband, Michael Lee Tilley of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Adalynn Nicole Tilley, Emelia Renee Tilley and Luca Jay Tilley;  her brother, Scott Linton of Waynesboro; her sister, Cindy Linton-Andrews  and brother-in-love, Mike of Elkton, Virginia; nephews and niece, Jeremy Hamilton, Joshua Hamilton and Jessica Hall; her special love, Zoe, her 3-legged cat that Robin rescued and nursed back to health as an abandoned kitten from a dumpster during the Nashville Flood of 2010.
