Robert Garland "Bob'' White

Robert Garland “Bob” White, 79, of Goshen, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Augusta Nursing and Rehab in Fishersville. He was born in Richmond on August 24, 1943 to William Samuel and Eunice Vera (Cochran) White.

Bob enjoyed being outdoors, deer hunting, and fishing. He was a very private and independent person. Bob worked as a carpenter and was known by his family and friends as “Mr. Fix-It”, he could fix anything. He took great pride in his carpentry and woodworking skills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Stanton.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, William White and wife, Vickie; nieces, Elisabeth Smith and husband, Jarrett, and Rebekah Surface and husband, Adam; four great-nieces; eight grandchildren; as well as many friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Augusta Nursing and Rehab for the loving care they provided.
