Robert Allen Wells, 52, of Waynesboro, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville. He was born in Waynesboro on January 18, 1973, a son of Ethel Wells.
Robert graduated from Stuarts Draft High School. He worked as a sound production operator for Stage Sound and Lee Hartman in Roanoke and Beware of Dog, LLC in Atlanta, GA. Robert had a passion for the lighting and sound industry, he craved his own path in that world, being self-taught in his craft it became his life’s work. To him it was not just a career-it was an art. It was his calling that he pursued with hard work, dedication, and creativity. Beyond his work, he was someone who embraced life to the fullest, never missing a moment to laugh, to love, and to share his wisdom with those around him. His journey was one of resilience, learning, and joy, leaving behind an echo of inspiration that will forever be heard and missed in our hearts.
Robert was preceded in death by his niece, Jessica Ramsey Stepp and brother-in-law, Junior Ramsey.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Debbie Ramsey; nephew, Trevor Ramsey (Randel); great nieces, Olivia and Ellie Ramsey; grandmother, Doshie Meade, uncles: Junior, Ralph (Lynette), Johnny (Sherry), Hubert (Suzy), and Jerry Wells; as well as many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11am on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Bridge Christian Church, 1275 Old Goose Creek Rd., Fishersville, with Pastor Stacey Burkholder officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
