Robert Worth "Bobby" Lyle

Robert Worth “Bobby” Lyle, 70, of Staunton, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his home. He was born in Staunton on December 14, 1951, a son of the late William Lester and Isabelle (Spitler) Lyle.

Bobby proudly served in the United States National Guard. He worked in manufacturing with Genicom and also worked at Kyle’s Amoco for many years. Bobby was a lifetime member of New Life Foursquare Gospel Church. Fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his family were a few of his favorite hobbies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tania Marie Lyle.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Rebecca Cobb Lyle; children: Amanda Leigh Lyle (Harry Jackson), Robert Worth Lyle, II (Ellie Adams), Aaron Travis Brown (Brie) of Austin, TX, and Jayne Mascetti (Joe) of Myrtle Beach, SC; seven grandchildren: Jacob Witt, Emma Witt, Gabriella Mascetti, Madison Mascetti, Henry Brown, Miles Brown, and Brexley Lyle; siblings: Jimmy Lyle of Hedgesville, WV, Billy Lyle (Vicky) of Culpeper, VA, Barbara Strickler of Churchville, VA, Brenda Lucas (Henry) of Greenville, VA, and Charles Lyle (Gail) of Staunton, VA; as well as several nieces and nephews. Bobby also leaves behind his two dogs, Marley and Maisy.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at New Life Foursquare Church, 97 William Road, Staunton, VA 24401, and where a memorial service will be held at 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Life Foursquare Gospel Church, 97 William Cousins Rd., Staunton, VA 24401.
