Ricky Lee Smith, Jr

Ricky Smith, Jr., 26, of Fishersville, departed this life on Friday, March 25, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born in Beckley, WV on September 30, 1995.He was the son of Emma and Carl Allen, II with whom he resided in Fishersville.

Ricky attended Wilson Memorial High School and graduated in 2014. His hobbies included gaming and spending time with family. His favorite past times were at Muscular Dystrophy Summer Camp; so much as that he would start the countdown for the following year the day he got home from camp.

 In addition to his parents, Ricky is also survived by his beloved cat, Lucifer; two brothers, Samuel Smith and companion, Heather Lovern of Verona and Christopher Allen of Fishersville; a special friend, JJ Price, whom he thought of as “his other dad” of Rocky Mount; grandmother, Mary Allen of Dooms; and Brenda Moats of Stuarts Draft.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Allen, Leland Crawford, and Ernest and Goldie Smith.

At Ricky's request, there will be no formal service.

A celebration of life will be held at  Coyner Springs Park,  2091 Lyndhurst Rd, Waynesboro, on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
