Rejulia Lee “Judy” (Cox) Stover, 76, of Staunton and formerly of Fishersville, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at her home at Baldwin Park. She was born in Springhill, VA, on March 4, 1949, a daughter of the late Wilson Swisher and Claudia (Soutamyre) Cox.
Judy graduated from Fort Defiance High School. She was an active member of Fishersville United Methodist Church. Judy worked as a clerk at Farm Credit until her retirement. Painting, working on puzzles, and socializing with friends were a few of her favor hobbies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee “Bob” Stover.
Survivors include her brothers, Donald Cox and wife, Eleanor of Verona and Gary Wayne Cox and wife, JoAnne of Florence, Arizona; a number nieces and nephews; special friend, Robin Bender; as well as extended family and friends.
Following cremation, a private burial will be held at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens in Staunton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
