Randall Thomas Wyant, Sr., 84, of Afton, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was born in Albemarle County on February 29, 1940, a son of the late Jesse Robert and Fannie Frances (Sipe) Wyant.
Randall enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jesse L. Wyant, Paul Wyant, Nelson Wyant, and Jim Boyne; sisters, Elsie Moore and Mary Helen Wyant.
Survivors include his children, Tommy Wyant and wife, Martha of Waynesboro, Debbie Wyant of Fishersville, and Jamie Wyant and wife, Ollie of Waynesboro; grandson, Joey Wyant and wife, Cassie; siblings, Dalmas “Moat” Wyant and wife, Viola of Afton, Doug Wyant and wife, Joyce of Fluvanna, and Ray Wyant and wife, Frances of Crozet; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Sandridge Family Cemetery, 3401 Cemetery Knoll, White Hall, Virginia.
Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.
