Phyllis R. Davis, 79, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at her home. She was born in Waynesboro on October 4, 1945, a daughter of the late James Edward and Doris Marie Templeton.
Phyllis was an animal lover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia Cook; brother, James Templeton; sister, Marie Templeton; brother-in-law, Harry Tomlin; and great nephew, Kyle Southern.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Woody and her son, Devon; grandson, Chad Beliz; sisters, Nancy Tomlin and Jean Templeton; two special nieces, Diana Tomlin and Beckie Southern (Tim); great nieces, Mandy Wells and Trisha Southern; son-in-law, Steve Cook; and special friend, Karen Stickley.
Per Phyllis’s request there will be no formal services.
Friends are welcome to stop-by her sister’s home at 924 S. Delphine Ave, Waynesboro to express their condolences to the family.
The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff with the Hospice of the Shenandoah and the Waynesboro First Aid Crew for their loving care of Phyllis.
