Percy Edward Jackson, 87, of Waynesboro, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 in Staunton.
Percy was born on September 26, 1934 in Afton, Virginia to the late Joseph Allen Jackson and the late Estelle Elizabeth Perry Jackson.
Percy was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing music and hunting for turtles and snakes. He worked at Wayne Manufacturing and was self employed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife, Frances Violla Jackson; siblings, Mary Lowery, Joseph Jackson, Robert Jackson, Nelly Jackson, Virele Jackson; step-daughters, Kim Baber and Peggy Painter.
He is survived by his children, Frances Truslow and her husband, Donald, Jimmy Jackson and his wife, Sandra; step-sons, Keith Painter and Tommy Painter and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Augusta Memorial Park.
