Paul Lee Wells

Paul Lee Wells, 79, of Staunton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Augusta Health.  He was born in Augusta County on December 17, 1942, son of the late William Wells and Anna H. Wells.

Paul was a retired warehouse manager and a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Stuarts Draft. He enjoyed watching wrestling and football.

The family would like to express special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Augusta Health.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Moore; his daughter, Tina Moore; his grandson, Colin Moore and six brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Tissy Jackson and her husband, Darrell Jackson of Charlottesville; three grandsons, Darrell Jackson, Jr., of Charlottesville, Preston Moore of Waynesboro and Michael Moore of Waynesboro; a host of great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; one sister, Hazel Blair; sister-in-law, Ollie Wells and special family members, Robert Wells, Jr., Ann Spencer, Kathy Monroe, Rochelle Johnson and Niakietia Goins.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, November 14, 2022 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, 15 China Clay Rd., Stuarts Draft, with Bishop Michael Turner officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Robert Wells, Jr., Eric Wells, Curtis Blair, Jason Wells, Brent Wells and Jeffery Johnson. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery for the service.

Friends will be received at the home of Mrs. Ollie Wells at other times.
