Patricia "Trish" Elizabeth (Thorne) Campbell

Patricia "Trish" Elizabeth (Thorne) Campbell was born September 13, 1939 and left this earth November 11, 2024. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Saylor and Lavelle Thorne; her sister, Dolores Jacqueline (Thorne) Kerns and infant sister, Barbara Ann Thorne; her husband, James William Campbell, and brother-in-law, John Wade Campbell.

She leaves behind three daughters, June Campbell Key, Jennifer Lynn Cline (Joe R), and Amy Dawn Campbell (Joe W); twelve grandchildren, Matthew William Key (Hazel), Kaitlyn Alexus Cline, Haley Lynn Cline (Cameron), Dylan Michael Key (Lura), Austin Scott Cline, Jacob Brandon Key, Jayla Michelle White, Jakiah Isabelle White, Jaliyah Elizabeth White, Thomas Anthony Rini, Jackson Alexander Rini, and Tyler Ryan Rini; two great-grandsons, Leviathan James Key and Jameson Edward Key; her brother, Howard Thorne (Sharon); sister-in-law, Peggy Campbell; numerous nieces and nephews; two former sons-in-law, Scott Cline and Doug Key, and two very special lifelong friends, Mary Alice Glenn and Anita Meeks.

Patricia graduated from Waynesboro High School and later from cosmetology school. After that she worked at Verla's Hairdressers for many years and eventually transitioned into her own small salon business named “Tricia's Kut 'n' Kurl”.

Patricia enjoyed many things but most of all her trips to Myrtle Beach with her family. Some of her favorite pastimes included bowling, crocheting, and music, especially by her favorites, Alan Jackson, Elvis Presley and New Kids on the Block. Patricia was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Waynesboro and had been part of the congregation since she was a small child. She will be remembered fondly for her kindness, pure spirit, and devoted faith in the Lord.

The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2024 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Dr., Fishersville.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Second Presbyterian Church, 133 N Delphine Ave., Waynesboro, with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro. Serving as pallbearers will be, Matthew Key, Dylan Key, Joshua Craig, Haley Cline, Hazel Shumaker and Cameron Craft.
