Patricia "Patsy" (Russell) Whiting

Patricia “Patsy” Whiting, 71, of Staunton, Virginia passed away Wednesday July 20, 2022 at her daughter’s residence.  She was born in Petersburg, Virginia to the late James E. and Jenell Russell, Sr.

Patsy was a kind, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Buddy” E. Whiting.  She is survived by one daughter, MendyJo Whiting of Staunton; eight loving grandchildren, Brad (Jeremy), Matt, Patricia (Alex), Charles, Kristyn, Amber, Cheyenne (Daniel) and Brooke; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Connor, Savannah and Caden; three siblings, Linda Pond (George), Jimmy Russell (Judy), and Debbie Andrews as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and special lifelong friends, Randy and Leslie Jones, Tommy and Terri Reekes and Chuck and Bert McCauley.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday, August 6, 2022 at noon at Fort Clifton Pavilion in Colonial Heights.
