Norman Brent Shifflett
Obituary
Norman Brent Shifflett, 80, of Stuarts Draft, passed away in Fishersville on Saturday, April 2, 2022. He was born on January 7, 1942 in Augusta County, the son of the late John Edward and Elsie T. (Davis) Shifflett.
Norman retired as a truck driver with Waste Movers. He was a member of the White Hill Church of the Brethren in Stuarts Draft.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Molly E. Shifflett, whom he married on April 25, 1962; sister, Kitty Ann Lucas; brothers, Hansford L. Lucas and Victor E. Shifflett.
He is survived by his sons, Theodore B. Shifflett, John L. Shifflett and Norman B. Shifflett II (Rita) all of Stuarts Draft; sister, Sherry Dawson of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, Hunter A. Shifflett and Briana N. Shifflett; special niece and nephew, Cindy Dillon and Gene Shifflett, as well as numerous additional nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at White Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 749 Old White Hill Rd, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477 on Saturday April 16, 2022 at 2pm.
Services have been entrusted to Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, Fishersville, Virginia
