Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth Roadcap Pannell, 92, of The Legacy at North Augusta in Staunton, passed away on January 5, 2021. She was born June 29, 1928 in Staunton to the late James Harmon and Hilda Gum Roadcap.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Pannell; her daughter, Ladonna (Patty) Pannell, brother, James H. Roadcap, Jr., and sisters, Betty Falls and Peggy Branch,
She is survived by her daughters Pamela Drumheller and husband Robert of Luray, and Rhonda Craig and husband Wiley of Waynesboro; her son Charles H. (Chuck) Pannell II and wife Loren of Fishersville; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, sister-in-law Mary Roadcap of Broadway and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mildred lived most of her life in the Waynesboro area and was a member of Glovier Memorial United
Methodist Church for many years.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Legacy at North Augusta for the loving care given Mildred over the last three years, especially the last nine months when family in-person visits were limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Our sincere gratitude and thanks in particular to Debbie, Naomi, Nicole, Tammy, and the entire third floor staff.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no visitation or other services at this time. A private burial was held on January 12, 2021.
