Mary Frances "Peck" (Patterson) Lowe

Mary Frances “Peck” Lowe, 96, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at her home.  She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on January 20, 1924, daughter of the late Charles Henry Patterson and Lillie Belle Merritt Patterson.

Mrs. Lowe, who spent her whole life in Sherando, was a member of Sherando United Methodist Church for many years and was retired from Stanley Furniture Company. She dearly loved her kids and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Herbert Lowe, Sr.; her son, John Herbert Lowe, Jr. and her grandchildren, Robin and Jeffrey Painter.

Survivors include her three daughters, Charlotte Ann Painter, Jackie Sue Bingler and Debbie Mize, all of Sherando; her sister, Eva Mae Campbell of Waynesboro; her grandson, David Mize of Sherando; her great-grandson and great granddaughter, Dustin Painter and Kellie Mize and a special son-in-law, Zane Mize all of Sherando.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Sherando United Methodist Church, 2022 Howardsville Turnpike, Stuarts Draft, conducted by Pastor David Rash. PLEASE NOTE: Covid-19 regulations will be observed and wearing a mask and social distancing is required.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
