Mary Blair Daniels

Mary Connice Blair Daniels, 82, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2022 in Fishersville.

She was born June 14, 1939 in Augusta County to the late Percy and Mary Blair.

Mary attended Rosenwald High School. She was a nurse, cook and was employed at Westwood Elementary School in Waynesboro.

She was a member of St. James Baptist Church in Waynesboro where she volunteered in the Kitchen Ministry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Frank Daniels; sisters, Betty Richardson, Florence Miller and a brother, John Blair.

She is survived by her loving children, James (Peanut) Blair of Waynesboro, Pastor Gerald (Brenda) Blair of Waynesboro, Valeria Jacques of Waynesboro, Tonia Blair of Waynesboro and Frankie Daniels of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Tiffiany Baker, Aimee Jacques, Shaketa Blair and Nashara Jacques; great grandchildren, Zaire Aidan, Julian, Michael, Isaiah, Drextan, Madison and Trinity; siblings, Charlene Blair of Waynesboro, Charles (Henretta) Blair of Waynesboro, Ann (Bernard) Smith of Glenarden, Maryland, Hilda Henderson of Waynesboro, Cleo Johnson of Waynesboro, Helen (Frank) Hutchenson of Maryland and Richard (Shelly) Blair of Waynesboro; other family members and friends, Mother Ollie Wells, Viola Hobson, Karen Reed, Agnes “Topsey” Frye, Elizabeth Webb, Louise Blair, Earsline Carter, and Marie Jackson

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 12:00pm where a celebration of life will be at 12:00pm on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Saint James Baptist Church in Waynesboro.

Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro.
