Mallie Mae Doyle (Reedy) Cash

Mallie Mae Doyle Cash, 96, of Mt. Torrey Road, Sherando, passed away, Sunday, December 14, 2025 in Fishersville.  She was born December 6, 1929, in Grant County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Wilbert Lee Reedy and the late Lillie Victoria Riggleman Reedy.

Mallie was a Production Manager in Clothing Manufacturing and retired in 1984 with 35 years of service. She was a champion horseshoe pitcher, who loved quilting, painting, gardening and she was a caregiver to her family.

The family wanted to offer a special thanks to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah, her nurse Nancy and her roommate, D. Roadcap.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Philip Doyle, her second husband, John Cash and her sister, Louise Bennett.

Mallie is survived by her two sons, Curtis Doyle and wife, Carol of Stuarts Draft and Philip Doyle, Jr. and wife, Jessica of Sherando; her grandchildren, Gary and Steve Smith, Philip, III and Shannon Doyle, Leatrice, Jonathan and Laura Woods; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and her nephew, Richard “Tony” Bennett.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, December 20, 2025 in the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Hankee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00am until the hour of the service, 10:00am. Interment will be in Augusta Memorial Park. Serving as Active Pallbearers will be, Jonathan Woods, Jaimin Woods, Daniel Williams, David Mize, Philip Doyle II and Anthony Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Suzie Bridge, Erin Carter, Shannon Moats and Kim Mize.
