Lynn Boling of Waynesboro went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Augusta Health Center in Fishersville.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Claire Mayo of Waynesboro.
Lynn leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, Troy Boling, 42 of Waynesboro; her daughter, Chyna R. Black of Waynesboro and her husband, Steve Boling of Waynesboro.
Lynn was effectionaly known as “Sister Lynn,” and she loved the Lord with all of her heart. Earlier in life she attended Roanoke Bible College in North Carolina and later attended Eastern Christian College in Belair, Maryland where she majored in Early Childhood Education. Later in life she became a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believed we have to love one another, forgive ourselves, forgive others and praise God with our lives.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville and where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel conducted by Bishop Clyde Brown, Sr.
Interment will be private.
