Lloyd Robert "Bob" Post

Lloyd Robert " Bob" Post, 82, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Augusta Health. He was born in Fond du Lac, WI, on June 18, 1942, a son of the late Lloyd Paul and Sylvia Marie (Belot) Post.

Bob received his bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh and James Madison University. He proudly served and was honorable discharged from the United States Air Force. Bob worked as an operating room nurse for the University of Virginia Medical Center until his retirement in 2007 and actively volunteered with the Wildlife Center of Virginia. Cheering on his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers, and doing carpentry work were a few of his favorite hobbies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Constance Post; son, Paul Jay Post and his wife, Jackie; sister, Sandra Welker and her husband, Roger.

Survivors include his sons, Derek Post and his wife, Monica Johns and Christopher Post and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren: Samuel Post, Elijah Post, Laura Post, and Jack Post; nieces, Megan Welker and Sara Welker; special friends, Stephanie and Markley Hicks.

Per Bob's wishes, all services will be private.
