Linda (Lamb) Doksa, 74, of Verona, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Augusta Health Hospice Shenandoah House. She was born in Augusta County on October 1, 1950, a daughter of the late Luther B. and Georgia B. Lamb.
Linda graduated from Fort Defiance High School. She retired from Genesco, ASR and Nibco. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader, loved cooking and baking for her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley (Lamb) Monroe and Donnie Lamb.
Survivors include her son, Dwayne S. Kiser(Robin); grandchildren: Kody Kiser(Danielle), Kacy Kiser (Maxx), and Trevor Fisher (Shanice); great-granddaughters, Abellah Fisher and Ruth Kiser; siblings: Betty L. Shull and John Lamb; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Linda also leaves behind her much loved dog, Smokey.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
