Linda Faye Lucas Lowry Allen

Linda Faye Lucas Lowry Allen, 74, of Waynesboro, went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Augusta Health – Shenandoah House.  She was born on May 18, 1950 in Waynesboro daughter of the late William Lee Lucas and the late Annie Jelenne Williamson Lucas.

Linda graduated from Wilson High School, was retired from Hollister and was member of Waynesboro Moose Lodge.  She enjoyed Bingo, bowling, quilting and cooking.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad, Augusta Health Home Care and Augusta Health Shenandoah House.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip “Boney” Allen and her brother, James Lucas.

Survivors include her two daughters, Wendy Weikert and her husband, Kevin of Waynesboro, Virginia and Angel Redman and her fiancé, Bobby Dalton of Wake, Virginia; her son, Chris Lowry of Waynesboro, Virginia; her grandchildren, Justin Conner of Greenville, Virginia, Jacob Weikert of Waynesboro, Virginia, Brandon Conner and fiancé,  Courtney Wittig of Greenville, Virginia and Noah Weikert  of New Bremen, Ohio; her great-grandchildren, Keelyn and Zayne Weikert, Marley Thompson, Charlie Conner, Aubree Hamilton, Avery Wittig, Justice Allen, Gabby Thompson, Sebastian Thompson and Urijah Thompson; her siblings, Michael and Margaret Lucas of Waynesboro, Doris Shinaberry of Stuarts Draft and Sandy Peters  and her husband, Stu of Waynesboro; her nieces and nephews, Timmy Lucas, Amy Bryant, Rene’e Atkins, Danielle Brown, Chris Lucas, Steven Lucas, Amanda Blankenship, Misty Ladd and Tasha Peters.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family is being served by the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, Fishersville.
