Lewis Madison Hudson

Lewis M. Hudson, 79, of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at his home. 

Born March 21, 1945 in Virginia, he was the son of the late Scott and Sally Hudson.  Lewis was a retired crane operator and the owner of L & L Crane.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Teresa A. Hudson; his siblings, Frances Fitzgerald, Josephine Fitzgerald and Mary Proffitt; his nephew, Timothy Wayne Brown and special brother-in-law, Butch Brown.

Lewis is survived by his sons, Lewis M. Hudson II and his fiancée, Andrea Patton of Waynesboro and William Anthony Hawkins of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Blaine Hudson and his girlfriend, Brianna Fulton and Izabella Hudson and Cain “Shane” Patton; his brother, Scott Hudson, Jr. and his wife, Ruth of Arrington and his sister, Joyce Huff of Troy; his two sisters-in-law, Gloria Ashby and Paula Lowery, and his brother-in-law, Timmy Brown;  other family members include, Jeff Hudson, Debbie Simpson, Glenn Hudson, Tina Giles, Brenda Taylor, Gary Hudson, Nancy Lucas, Chris Brown, Ricky Brown, Kim Lowery, Cherie Lowery, Lisa Showalter, Emiley Brown and Sarah Small, and his beloved dog Camo.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939.
