Larry Alan Coffey

Larry Alan Coffey, age 71 years, of Fishersville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. 

Born on September 7, 1951, Larry is the son of Louis E. Coffey and the late Bettie G. Coffey. 

Larry worked for GE, Genicom, and Virginia Metal Crafters before retiring and focusing on his lifelong dream of building his family farm. Everyday you could find Larry outdoors, walking the fields, keeping track of the daily activities on the farm, and caring for his cows. 

A creator at heart, Larry enjoyed crafting things in every aspect of his life. From building the family log home, folding origami, and his constant woodworking, Larry would always find miscellaneous items to tinker with and make his own. He also had a passion for vehicles and would personalize his cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors to his liking. Friends and family could also depend on Larry as a great source for a good laugh or scare with his love of practical jokes! 
In addition to his father, Louis, Larry is survived by wife Ginny; and their sons, Matt and his wife, Melanie, Tim and his wife, Michal, Paul, and Andrew and his wife, Christine; his nine grandchildren; and numerous extended family members. Larry is predeceased by his mother, Bettie, and a brother James.

The family will have a private celebration of life.
