Lacey Nicole (Cook) Campbell, 40, of Waynesboro, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2026, at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.
Born on June 29, 1985, in Waynesboro, Virginia. Lacey was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished deeply by all who knew her. She worked in the insurance industry for many years and built lasting relationships through her kindness. She had a sweet, funny spirit and brought warmth and laughter wherever she went. Lacey loved her family deeply, adored her dogs, and especially enjoyed the holidays making Christmas a truly special time for those around her.
She is survived by her husband and soulmate, Travis Campbell; her beloved son, Tristan Campbell; her father, Dennis Cook; her mom and dad, Vickie and Jimmy Eavers, who lovingly raised her; her brother, Jimmy Eavers, and his wife, Reagan Eavers, along with their two daughters; her grandparents, Cecil and Juanita Eavers; her paternal grandmother, Sylvia Cook; her cousins and best friends, Kevin and Stacey Campbell, and their daughters, Kelcie and Kenzie; her sister-in-law, Candi Shiflett and family. Lacey was preceded in death by her beloved maternal grandmother, “Nanny” Joyce Dunning; her maternal grandfather, George Wesley Dunning; and her paternal grandfather, Malcolm Cook.
She is also lovingly remembered by many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends, all of whom will miss her deeply.
Her faith was strong, and her family finds peace in knowing she is with the Lord.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 14th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Life Baptist Church, located within the New Hope Community Center, 691 Battlefield Rd, Fort Defiance, VA.
