Kristina Megan Thomas-Wilfong, 45, of Waynesboro, was called to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2026. Born February 26, 1981, she was the youngest daughter of the late Keith Thomas and her surviving mother, Deborah Kidd. Megan is also survived by her two older sisters, Lori Sclater and Julia Thomas. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Matthew Thomas. Her legacy carries on through her daughter, Lillian (Jordan) Biggs; her son, Nate Wilfong; two granddaughters, Leia and Ella Biggs; and her partner and caretaker, David Thompson; nieces: Isabel Metcalf , Marin Sclater, and Amelia Cummings.
Megan was known for her gentle, kind, and compassionate nature, always offering support and encouragement to those in-need. A creative soul, she found great joy in expressing herself through the artistry of makeup and her talents in writing. She also possessed a deep love for music and movies, holding a special admiration for Tori Amos and Marilyn Monroe.
Courageous and resilient, Megan openly shared her journey with schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety. Her transparency provided strength and hope to many others facing similar struggles. Megan’s devout faith and love in Christ have finally brought her to eternal peace.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the home of Deborah Kidd, located at 65 Ridgeview Dr., Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.
