Kimberly Yvette (Walters) Campbell

Kimberly “Kim” (Walters) Campbell, 59, of Waynesboro, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at her home. She was born in Millington, TN, on October 16, 1966, a daughter of James “Jim” and Cheryl Ann Walters.

Kim graduated from Stuarts Draft High School in 1985. She most recently worked as a line assembler with Daikin for 11 years and was formerly with Ladd Convenience Center for 30 years. Her family was the center of her world, and she also cherished her Daikin and Ladd families, where she formed lifelong friendships. Kim never met a stranger and had a true heart of gold. She loved with her whole heart, would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need, and had a contagious laugh that could light up any room. Strong-willed and unwavering in her Christian faith, she loved cheering on her Dallas Cowboys and caring for animals. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as “Mimi.” Kim will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose legacy is one of love, kindness, faith, and generosity.

In addition to her parents, left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 41 years, Michael Dale Campbell; son, Justin M. Campbell (Amber); daughter, Brittni Campbell Lunn (Autumn); three grandchildren: Marley D. Campbell, Axl M. Campbell, and Wylder P. Yount; sister, Lisa Walters Alford (David ); brother-in-law, Brian Megginson; sister-in-law, Tina Megginson; nieces, Mandy and Emilee Alford Floyd (Jake); nephews, Kyle and Paul James “PJ” Walters; great niece, Reagan Floyd; great nephew, Rhett Floyd; as well as extended family and friends.

A celebration of Kim’s life will be conducted at 2pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Proctor officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12pm until the time of the service on Saturday.
