Kenneth William Campbell, 71, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at his residence. He was born on September 9, 1951, a son of the late Raymond Edwards Campbell and Martha Virginia Lowery.
Kenneth served in the United States Army. He worked as an excavator. Hunting and riding his motorcycle were a few of his favorite hobbies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ken Raymond Campbell.
Survivors include his children: Ryan and wife, Heather Campbell of Churchville, Debbie Conover and husband, Donnie of Stuarts Draft, Christie Carlson and husband, Randy of Virginia Beach; Danielle Marshall (Nikki) of Fargo, ND, and Pam Rosen of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren: Mason Campbell, Preston Campbell, Dallas Conover, Derick Conover, Danielle Conover, Daelyn Conover, Jared Rosen, Jacob Rosen, Stormi Marshall; as well as extended family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at White Rock Cemetery with Pastors Debbie Conover and Drew Gibbons officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Timmy Humphreys, Kenneth Humphreys, Joseph Truxell, Harlan Roach, Trey Hemp, and Ryan Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Deon Gibbons and Robert Benson.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to Wendy Wyant with the Staunton Veterans Clinic and the staff with Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah for their loving care of Kenneth and his family.
