Kenneth Wayne Price

Kenneth Wayne Price, 62, of Staunton, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Augusta Health.

He was born in Union, South Carolina on April 21, 1959, a son of the late Horace Earl and Mildred Deloris (Ponder) Price.

Wayne worked as the operator and owner of Wayne’s Lawn Service for 20 plus years. He was a devoted Christian and a member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church. Fishing, listening to music, and spending time with his family were a few of his favorite hobbies. Wayne was a very kind and friendly person and he never met a stranger.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 32 years,  Terry Lynn (Burner) Price; daughter, Jennifer Robichaux and husband, Eric; grandson, Grayson Robichaux; sisters: Ann (Price) Sacre and husband, James, Debra (Price) Hill and husband, Stanley “Buddy”, and Gail (Price) Dill and husband, Danny; step mother, Mary Price; mother-in-law, Phyllis Burner; brother-in-law, Douglas Burner; sister-in-law, Mary B. Burner; as well as extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Wayne Hills Baptist Church, 877 Ladd Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980, with Pastors Ken Card and Jamie McClanahan officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
