Kendra Rose Banks

Kendra Rose Banks, 51, of Waynesboro, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. She was born in Waynesboro on November 22, 1971 a daughter of George and Susan Rose.

Kendra was a Waynesboro High School graduate. She worked as a operator at Hollister and was member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Kendra was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eleanor B. Miller and John Lassiter and her paternal grandparents, David and Pearline Rose.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gary E. Banks; children: Brittany L. Jones, Kendrick L. Rose, and Kevrick L. Rose all of Waynesboro; grandchildren: Aliyah B. Rose, Kenzlie E. Rose, Keilynn M. Jones, and Kamarie M. Jones; siblings: David S. Rose (Christina), Stacy C. Rose (Tapeka), Kelly L. Rose ( Mike), Eva Brown, Iva Jackson (Alan), and Ivy Henderson; special nephews, Cortland Rose and Trayton Rose; special friends: Robert and Terrie Hippert and Byron Woods; as well as extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro with Minister Byron C. Woods officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 4pm until 6pm at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.
