Keith E. McCauley

Keith E McCauley, 54 of Weyers Cave, received his wings on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in his home in Weyers Cave.

Keith was born in Waynesboro to Diane and Harold McCauley on August 21, 1971.  Keith married Yniska on June 28, 2001 in Staunton.  Keith was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.  He had a wonderful smile that touched your soul.  Keith loved his family, the Steelers, and fishing.  He graduated from Nelson County High School.  Keith held many positions throughout the community even after his life changing accident in 2001 that left him paralyzed.  It was because of those positions that many grew to love his smile and charismatic personality.

Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Diane McCauley; his grandmothers, Myrtle Thompson and Claire McCauley and special uncle, Teddy Berkley.

Keith is survived by his wife, Yniska McCauley; children, Eric and Brittney Arrington; brother, Justin Goins; sisters, Dee Leighton (husband, James and daughter, Agnus), Jessie Goins (daughter, JJ), Felicia Williams, Faith Pope-Boutte, Dana Durrette-Speaks, Towanda Brown (Darrick Brown); father, Harold McCauley and Bonus mom, Rosie Goins; bonus dad, William Shaw; his loving Blooms, Kalani and Kamil Crawford and Zuri Arrington; best friend, Rodney Waller and we cannot forget his three aunts, Peggy, Debbie and Robin;as well as a host of cousins, family and friends in a list that would never end.

A celebration of life will be held  on  Saturday, August 23, 2025 in Afton, VA.  Time and location will be announced later.
