Katie Lee McDaniel

Katie Lee McDaniel, 43, of Waynesboro, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at her home.  She was born May 12, 1978 in Waynesboro.

Katie was employed with Royal Flush Plumbing.  She enjoyed life with her family and friends, camping and being at the beach and outdoors. 

She dearly loved her son and her fur babies. Katie was a beautiful person who will be missed by so many.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward McDaniel.

Survivors include her son, Alec Smith of Louisa County; her mother and step-father, Rita Ford and Jim Ford of Fairfield; her sister, Kathy McDaniel and significant other, David Hostetter of Lexington and her twin sister, Hilda Breeden and brother-in-law, Timmy Breeden of Stuarts Draft; one nephew, five nieces, three great-nieces and one great-nephew; special friends, Mary King, Steve King, Carrah Wood, Chip Wood, Sandy Hutchinson and Shane Hutchinson; her boyfriend, Ken Sample.

A Celebration of Katie’s life will be planned for a later date.

The family is being served by Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, Fishersville.
